Getting Started

If you're reading this, chances are you've already started living. Most people seem to make it through the first few years without any particular philosophy or world view, although a little common sense can come in awfully handy. Once you've mastered the basics, however, like not sticking your tongue in the electric socket and not gobbling up all those little pills that mommy takes after yelling at daddy for going out jogging for 6 hours and coming back without any sweat, life is pretty straightforward.

Although a few prodigies may begin to contemplate the utter utterness of the universe at astonishingly early ages, most of us do not experience the first awakenings of philosophical inquisitiveness until around the same time our bodies begin to function sexually. This is no coincidence.
